My consulting room is light and comfortable and where I endeavour to provide a safe and confidential environment. My focus as a counsellor is to provide a trusting relationship to empower you to make positive changes within your life leading to a more contented lifestyle.
My counselling practice is ideally located to serve the Ashford area of Kent and the surrounding villages of Stowting, Lympne, Aldington, Wye, Sellindge, Mersham and Hythe. However, I am to be found in easy reach of the Coastal town of Folkestone and the City of Canterbury.
My broad range of counselling training and background enables me to be able to work with all ages ranging from children and young people through to adults with varying individual needs.
Furthermore, I am able to provide flexibility including: weekday, evening and Saturday morning appointments. In addition to providing discreet private parking which is conveniently adjacent to my consulting room.
Importantly, I view our relationship as a partnership and therefore appreciate and respect your honesty in expressing how you feel we are working together. It is my belief that this deepens the quality of our work together and value opportunities to explore what may be happening between us, within our therapeutic relationship.
Sometimes you may have unwelcome or confusing feelings and question how you see or feel about yourself or perhaps how others treat you. I would like to reassure you that as an experienced counsellor I will accept you just as you are, without the need for pretence or hide parts away. I am interested in you and will try hard to understand you in a deep and sincere way. This will help me to grasp what life may be like for you given your personal circumstances. It is this very deep genuine understanding of yourself, which promotes healing and personal growth and for moving towards accepting and appreciating the real you. To begin to live an authentic and meaningful life.
