My approach

Hello, my name is Sally and thank you for visiting my website. I am a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor ideally located in Ashford, Kent. I have received NHS training within a BACP accredited college, which means I can draw from a range of theoretical approaches. If beneficial to you and your situation, I may integrate elements often associated with cognitive behavioural therapy, whilst tailoring the way I work according to your individual needs.

 

Sometimes you may have unwelcome thoughts or confusing feelings, and these may leave you feeling upset and wondering who you can turn to. I want to reassure you that as an experienced counsellor, I am here to listen to you carefully without fear of judgment. My role is to be alongside you.

 

I am interested in you and to gain an understanding of what it may feel like, to live your life. I seek to build a confidential and trusting therapeutic relationship, where you can feel safe enough to explore the difficulties which you may be experiencing. With a greater understanding of yourself, you can feel more confident to take positive steps towards a more meaningful and contented way of living.
