Hello and welcome to my website

Sally Cloke Headshot

My approach

My name is Sally and am a fully qualified and experienced Integrative Counsellor located within a rural area of Ashford, Kent. I have received NHS training within a BACP accredited college, this means I am able to draw from a range of theoretical approaches.

These include humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive therapy. In addition, I work from an existential perspective, which permits me to include the “givens of life,” which inevitably shape our experiences. With this in mind I am able to tailor my way of working to meet your needs in an holistic and individual way.

Sometimes you may have unwelcome or confusing feelings and question how you see or feel about yourself or perhaps how others treat you. I would like to reassure you that as an experienced counsellor I will accept you just as you are, without the need for pretence or hide parts away.

I am interested in you and will try hard to understand you in a deep and sincere way. This will help me to grasp what life may be like for you given your personal circumstances. It is this very deep genuine understanding of yourself, which promotes healing and personal growth and for moving towards accepting and appreciating the real you. To begin to live an authentic and meaningful life.
